This Father’s Day may be a little different for some families in light of the consistently evolving COVID-19. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t find ways to celebrate your dad. We’ve all been adjusting and finding innovative ways of spending quality time together while remaining protected during the Covid pandemic. Here are a few ways to celebrate this Father’s Day while staying safe.

1. Share a home-cooked meal

Despite the fact that a few cafés and restaurants have been opening for restricted crowds, having a home-cooked meal in the safety of your home is way better. Not only are you staying safe, but cooking with your family can be a wonderful activity that not only your father but the family will enjoy

2. Gift a gadget that makes video calling easier

It tends to be difficult to stay in touch during the pandemic. With latest technologies coming your way make things simpler and gift your father a gadget that will help you stay close even while being miles apart.

3. Send a customized gift basket

Create your own gift basket with goodies you know your dad will surely love. A couple of snacks and a few drinks could go a long way. You could even add in a few covid necessities to make sure your dad stays safe and well protected.

4. Movie night

Ask your dad to list some of his favourite movies, look them up online and kick back and enjoy. Watch your dad’s eyes gleam with joy as he remembers his youthful days spent at the movie theatre.

Although your choices may be less with the pandemic holding its course, there’s a lot you can do from the comforts of your home, and you can be sure the little things you do could go a long way. Make sure to be safe this Father’s Day and take care of your loved ones.
